The Sanagloss Toilet

Based out of Tokyo, Japan, Toto is the largest bathroom brand. It was established in 1917 and is currently known for creating the Washlet, and many derivative products. The company is located in Kitakyushu, Japan, and has production facilities in nine different countries. There are over 150 stores worldwide, selling a variety of Toto merchandise.

The Toto Washlet was invented in 1917 in order to address one of the problems facing modern day toilets. The problem was the fact that most modern day toilets were slow to flush, requiring multiple trips to the bathroom in order to get rid of waste. This caused stress and frustration for the consumer, causing them to choose to use a “wet to dry” toilet rather than a “dry to clean” one. The “wash to dry” toilet solved the slow flush problem by allowing you to flush while sitting down, eliminating the need to stand up and go to the bathroom. The toto washlet changed the face of toilet design forever.

The toto washlet and its derivatives are extremely popular throughout the world, due to their innovative design. The most unique aspect of the design is that it does not have a bowl, but rather a head that hovers up and down. This enables you to easily wash behind your ears in the shower without having to hold the hand rest of the toilet paper up or to wipe wet wipes from the top down. Because the head is raised, there is no need to balance the weight of the toilet paper by keeping it balanced on the floor. As long as you flush the water supply, the toto can handle whatever is thrown at it. In addition, it allows for a completely clean bathroom every time, eliminating the need to keep a bucket of water on hand to add more.

The next step up in toilet design was the bidet. The bidet is similar to the toto, but instead of holding the flush to hold the water, the bidet uses a handle that pushes down on the flushing nozzle, releasing the water into the bowl. Because the bidet is designed to be used by both men and women, it was able to spread the use of the washes across the population, but as with the toto, many people still viewed the washlets as backwards compared to traditional toilets.

The Sanagloss Toilet continues to evolve. Over the last thirty years, the Sanagloss Company has made many improvements to the design. Today, the washlets have a seat that goes back, creating a much cleaner experience. Although the push-button seat may be more sanitary than the push-down seat, the overall experience still lacks some quality. Although the design is improved, the Sanagloss Toilet still isn’t perfect, but it is one of the most advanced flush-able toilet options on the market today.

Today’s Sanagloss toilet has evolved. They are still based on their original design, but they are now equipped to handle more than just standard flush toilets. The push-button seat eliminates the need for messy diapers, which is a great thing for anyone who is allergic to diapers! They also offer a seat that can be detached completely to allow for easy cleaning. The Sanagloss is a great washroom tool for anyone, but the push-button toilet seat might be a deal breaker for some.
